21st Celebrations - Coming of Age

The 21st celebrations were delayed somewhat (It is assumed due to the War, but no reason can be found in the committee minutes to confirm this), but finally took place from the 28th to the 30th of May 1943.  Originally the dates were to have been the 13th and 14th of March that year.  The actual date of majority for the St. Matthew's Scout Troop is soe tie in February according to the registration documents, although the St. Matthew's Church only recognised the probationary period at an end and accepted the Troop on the 8th of May 1922 (Date of the first annual meeting of the Troop).
