Keas is a section of the New Zealand Scouting organisation for boys and girls, aged 6 - 8.

St. Matthew's LLO has a large and very active Kea group, which meets every Monday night during the school term from 6 - 7pm. 

The St. Matthew's Kea Yell - World Famous in St Albans

Each week brings a new activity; and Keas regularly learn new skills, facts and more. 

Just some of the fun activities that have been held by the Kea group include:

• a pirate day including a trip on a boat to Quail Island
• making personalised coffee mugs for Fathers day
• Visits from the New Zealand Police & New Zealand Fire Service
• Camping
• Tramping
• ...and much more.
